Nicholas Rejack

Nicholas Rejack is a system administrator and software engineer at the University of Florida’s Advanced Computing and Information Systems (ACIS) laboratory. He joined the ACIS lab in 2018 to serve as a developer and data analyst on the iDigBio project. Over his previous 9 years at the University of Florida Nicholas served as an analyst, programmer and data quality manager on the OneFlorida project which integrated electronic health record data from 10 different Florida hospitals, combining data on over 14 million patients to aid in cohort discovery and answer research questions and as a DevOps engineer at UF’s CTS-IT developing, releasing, and maintaining open source software to collect data for Hepatitis C research. Nicholas’s current research interests include data reuse and sharing, distributed storage systems, and biodiversity data quality.
